ABOUT ME

I’m Jean Smart, an experienced marketing professional based in Dundee, Scotland, who has been working freelance since 2016 over a variety of sectors including charities, e-commerce, local small businesses and creative industries.

My work focuses on creating social media strategies and solutions for my clients in order to help them better connect with their audience.

I also have a number of years experience managing international brands and enjoy applying the skills and experience gained to each project I’m involved in.

From day to day management of social platforms, to providing training in social media marketing, to fine tuning brand identities and tone of voice, I always bring my strong eye for detail and positive attitude in everything that I do.

WHY SEQUOIA?

A Sequoia is an evergreen tree which can live for up to 3500 years. The species include the tallest living trees on Earth, reaching up to 379 feet in height. These trees are among the oldest living things on Earth. 
I grew up in the shadows of these sentinels, over my childhood home, my primary school and the cottage I moved to after I was married.
I take inspiration from the warmth, strength and grace they emanate.
